To educate and promote change on issues related to domestic violence

Emily’s Place paired with the National No More campaign to provide education and promote change on issues related to domestic violence. The Change Makers host quarterly events to inform the community on a range of topics so inspire their involvment in the movement to make a Change to break the cycle of domestic violence and sexual assault.  The No More campaign champions our message with a movement of over 70,000 online subscribers, ensuring we provide our community with the best resources and tools to make an impact.

Children exposed to domestic violence make look fine but inside they can hide terrible pain. They may blame themselves, feel rage, embarrassed, isolated or vulnerable. Their emotional, physical & behavioral responses are affected. Join us on October 24th to learn about the short & long term effect of domestic abuse on children. Our speaker is Sakia Johnson, Children’s Service Coordinator at The Family Place.
